Terms & Conditions of sale.

  1. Scope. The following conditions are valid for all quotations and sales unless anything is written to the contrary.

  2. Quotations. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing are and subject to confirmation by Millers UK Ltd at the time of acceptance. Prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged at the appropriate rate.

  3. Orders. Goods ordered will be supplied to the confirmed price with reservation for amendment for changes in trade conditions, material supply. imposed taxes or similar occurrences beyond the control of Millers UK Ltd. Cancellation only after agreement and payment of charges.

  4. Delivery. The company, whilst making every effort to effect prompt delivery will not unless otherwise agreed in writing signed by a representative of the company, be liable for loss or damage occasioned by delay in delivery howsoever caused, and any dates expressed in the contract or quotation are given subject to this condition

  5. Payment Millers UK Ltd accepts payment by any of the credit cards shown as acceptable on the website at time of purchase. BACs payments can also be arranged by telephoning our office for details. All goods and services must be paid for upon ordering.

All prices are shown in UK pounds sterling and are subject to VAT and delivery charges unless otherwise stated.

The description and price of goods will be as shown on the website at the time you place your order. Every effort will be made to ensure that prices shown on the website are accurate at the time of purchase. If an error is discovered prior to despatch of your order, Millers UK Ltd will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling your order.

Orders of goods shown on the website can also be placed by telephone by calling our office during opening hours. Millers UK Ltd is under no obligation to accept any order.

  1. Title and Risk of Goods. As security for payment of the purchase price, the goods shall remain in the title of the company until full payment has been received by the company for all goods whatsoever supplied at any time by the company to the purchaser, Risk in the goods shall pass immediately upon delivery to the customer and the customer shall thereafter accept responsibility for any loss, damage or destruction to the goods.

  2. Guarantee. Any guarantee on new equipment, unless otherwise stated, will be limited to the guarantee that the company receives from the manufacturer or supplier of such goods. Reconditioned and graded products will be accompanied by a warranty, which the company will individually select according to the piece of equipment sold. The warranty will be stated at the time of quotation or sale.

  3. Suitability For Purpose It is in its entirety the purchasers responsibility to ensure that the kind and/or class of the goods ordered by him are suitable for his purpose. The company shall not be under any liability for any loss or damage however arising from or attributable to any advice statements or representations given by the company its employees or agents to the buyer in respect of the goods whether regarding performance capability or suitability for any purpose. Such liability is hereby expressly excluded to the extent permitted by law.

  4. Exceptions. Millers UK Ltd will not be liable in the event that the breakdown is caused by or in consequence of:

  1. Force Majeure. In the event of the company being delayed from performing the contract by any cause beyond its reasonable control including strikes, lockouts, war, fire, accidents in the companies works and lack of raw materials or utilities, whether or not the same was or might have been foreseen when the contract was concluded, the company shall be under no liability for loss or damage suffered by the purchaser, and performance shall be suspended during the period of such delay, provided always that is such delay shall exceed 6 months either the company or the purchaser may give written notice terminating the contract as to further deliveries or work.

  2. Completion Signature on our delivery notes & job sheets will constitute full satisfaction with the work done, materials and/or parts and goods supplied.

  3. Acceptance. Receipt of our confirmation of sale, written quotation/ estimate or the placing of an order, written or verbal by you, constitutes acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
