Wetcare is an innovative wet cleaning system from Miele Professional that provides a viable alternative to traditional dry cleaning. Wet cleaning allows for garments that have previously required dry cleaning to be cleaned in sophisticated washers and dryers. Using water and biodegradable specialist detergents instead of harmful dry cleaning solvents wet cleaning not only cleans garments but it is also much cleaner and greener for the environment. Wetcare also enhances it’s green credentials by using 30 percent less water than conventional washers and being able to wash at temperatures as low as 20 degrees Celsius energy consumption can be reduced by 50 percent. The absence of toxic solvents from the wet cleaning process also means that the end result has a fresh smell and soft feel with enhanced colour retention.
